Opticians - Many opticians will accept old specatcles for reuse in
developing countries
Chemists - Many chemists or pharmacists will accept old medicine
bottles and jars for reuse or recycling and will dispose of the medicines carefully
Charity shops - These will accept a range of household goods such as
books, clothing, foil, stamps etc for reuse or recycling.
Nappy laundering services - Consider "real" nappies as an alternative to disposables. Contact the National Association of Nappy Services (Nans) on 0121
693 4949, or call "Cotton Bottoms" on 023 8086 7007. "Sam I Am" also provide "real" nappies - call Ann Evans
on 01264 400090.
