bullet.gif (139 bytes)Havant Borough Council operates a kerbside collection of recyclables in wheeled bins across the borough. This is collected fortnightly from the front boundary of your property and can take paper and card, food and drink cans, and plastic bottles.  Recycling is available to flats on request; a suitable container will be issued depending on the requirements of the residents.

For further information on Havant's recycling schemes, please contact Customer Services on Tel No 023 9244 6010 or email customer.services@havant.gov.uk or visit our web site at www.havant.gov.uk

Charity shops - Many charity shops will gladly take a range of household goods such as books, clothing, foil, stamps etc for reuse or recycling.
Nappy laundering services -
Consider "real" nappies as an alternative to disposables. Contact the National Association of Nappy Services (Nans) on 0121 693 4949.
