Hart Council seeks residents' views on waste

Hart District Council is seeking local residents and businesses views on how their waste should be dealt with in the future.

The Recycling Plan consultation document is being delivered to all 30,000 households in Hart News and sent to many other organisations such as schools, local businesses, councils, environmental groups and local councils.

Mrs Band, chairman of Environmental Health and Housing said, "This is an important opportunity for the community to give us their views on how we shape the future of waste management services in Hart."

The comments and views received will help the council decide what steps they need to take to challenge the growing waste problem. Green garden waste, business recycling services and charging for how much waste households generate are just a few of the areas where people are asked for their comments.

If you would like a copy of the consultation document please call Stuart Robbens, Recycling Officer on 01252 622122 extension 4535.
