WORN IT? RECYCLE IT
...
There is enormous demand for clean second hand underwear, in Africa, the Baltic States and other countries where there is no indigenous textile industry, and where these items are hard to come by. Bras, vests, pyjamas, knickers, boxer shorts, and other under garments can be taken to any one of a network of charity clothing banks throughout Hampshire. Project Integra, supported by the Salvation Army, will be holding Town Centre displays in the Swan Centre, Eastleigh on the morning of Thursday 7 February and in Gosport Town Centre on Tuesday 12 February (morning). Clean underwear, and other items of clothing and shoes, may be brought to these displays for reuse or recycling or, at any time they may be put in one of the clothing banks. If youre not sure where your local bank is ask your
local district council Recycling Officer, or visit www.integra.org.uk/recycling for a list of
recycling banks in your area. |
