Project Integra has established an elected member led Strategic Board (formally known as Management Board), and a Policy Review and Scrutiny Committee, which came into effect on 25 July 2001.

This introduced a clearer and more accountable framework to enable Project Integra to respond more effectively to the challenges of dealing with waste in the future.
