Feedback from delegate response forms
The final Beacon Council Open Day held at the Winchester
Guildhall was hailed as a complete success. Feedback received after the event from the
various delegates has been positive with very few critical comments made. 90% of the
delegates were very satisfied with the event, with 80% of delegates finding the venue to
be satisfactory.
The presentations and workshops were all found to very useful with specific comments
including Judith Petts presentation as a highlight of the day. Most were happy with
the information they received prior to the event with several delegates saying that they
would have liked to receive some more briefing on the workshops before the event. All the
presentations and workshops have now been put onto the web site and can be viewed by
clicking on the Beacon Council link and finding the appropriate open day.
Key lessons that delegates said they were going to take back to their organisations
included greater public consultation, best value, market development and partnership
working. Other general comments with regards to the event have been a well run and
organised event, but there was not enough time to do everything they wanted and a little
too much time being spent on formalities.
